The outgoing ADEPR’s leadership committee today here in Kigali handed over leadership to the acting church committee.
The event was witnessed by leaders of ADEPR Parishes and Saleh Habimana, head of political parties, NGOs and faith based organisations at Rwanda Governance Board (RGB).
Following the firing of Pastor Samuel Usabwimana as the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda ADEPR legal representative, an acting committee was set up.
The former ADEPR’s legal representative, Pastor Usabwimana Samuel handed over the leadership to his successor Pastor Sibomana Jean some of the dossiers and stamps and showed him his new offices.
The handover ceremony was held in the presence of ADPER local church leaders and officials from RGB. Sheikh Saleh Habimana, during the ceremony asked the incoming committee to focus on resolving some of the problems cited in the ADEPR church.
The incoming ADPER’s acting leader said that his committee has a challenge of addressing problems that have rocked the church as internal conflicts, divisionism, and genocide ideology among others.
ADEPR was established in Rwanda in 1940. Until now It has got 12 parishes countrywide. Ends
