Business Definition

§ The role of ORINFOR as  the national public broadcaster shall extend beyond broadcasting as well as going beyond the mandate to inform, educate and entertain. ORINFOR has a duty to invest in the community, and contribute to development, to social investment initiatives and to fulfill these functions through radio, television programmes and print media publications.

§ ORINFOR intends  to have a strong marketing department and create a commercial group to produce the content for radio and TV to meet the demand of customers and current technology

§ To achieve the above objectives, ORINFOR intends to change the current status and stop being referred to as the office of information and become the Rwanda Broadcasting corporation (RBC).
